Parent-led non-profit · Okanagan, BC
Behind every athlete, a community.
Supporting Okanagan competitive rhythmic gymnastics athletes with greater access to development, competition and opportunities to progress in the sport.
Athlete First
Volunteer Powered
Transparent & Non-Profit
Competitive rhythmic gymnastics is a small but growing community in the Okanagan. With limited access to specialized coaching, athlete development and high-level competition locally, athletes often need to travel outside our region to access the opportunities they need to progress.
For more than a decade, ORGA has worked to change that.
We exist to support competitive rhythmic gymnastics athletes in the Okanagan by creating opportunities beyond their regular club training — from specialized coaching and athlete development initiatives to high-quality competition and financial support.
Through the annual Queen of Hearts Invitational, development camps, guest coaching, fundraising and athlete support, we help bring more opportunities closer to home while supporting athletes as they progress through the sport.
We're not a club — we're the community behind our competitive athletes.
ORGA is a parent-led, volunteer-powered non-profit. We don't operate a gymnastics club or manage athletes' day-to-day training. We work alongside athletes, families, coaches and clubs to create opportunities, reduce barriers and strengthen the competitive rhythmic gymnastics community in the Okanagan.
WHO WE ARE
Supporting Competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics in the Okanagan
WHAT WE DO
Opportunities beyond the club level
Three ways ORGA helps Okanagan athletes grow, compete and thrive.
Queen of Hearts
Bringing high-level competition home.
Our annual invitational brings athletes from across Western Canada to the Okanagan, giving local athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level close to home while strengthening our competitive gymnastics community.
Athlete Development
More opportunities to grow, right here in the Okanagan.
We bring specialized coaching, development camps, clinics and workshops to our region, giving competitive athletes greater access to the experiences and expertise that help them progress.
Athlete Funding & Support
Helping make competitive opportunities more accessible.
Through fundraising, sponsorship and community support, we help offset the costs of competition and athlete development so our athletes can pursue more opportunities as they progress through the sport.
OUR PRINCIPLES
Built around our athletes
Everything we do starts with one question: Will this create more opportunity for our athletes?
Athlete First
Every decision starts with what creates the most meaningful impact for our athletes.
We focus our time, funding and energy on opportunities that support the development, experience and progression of Okanagan competitive rhythmic gymnasts.
SUSTAINABLE IMPACT
We build for today's athletes and the ones who come next.
We make thoughtful, transparent decisions about our resources and initiatives so ORGA can continue supporting competitive rhythmic gymnastics in the Okanagan for years to come.
Opportunity over obstacles
We look for ways to bring more within reach.
Whether it's specialized coaching, competition or financial support, we work to reduce the barriers that can limit what's possible for competitive athletes in our region.
STRONGER TOGETHER
It takes a community to support an athlete.
We work collaboratively with athletes, families, coaches, clubs, volunteers, sponsors and community partners to create opportunities no one group could build alone.
